The construction of trains from Mexico to Nuevo Laredo and Nogales, as well as the improvement of roads and waterworks, are some of the initiatives that will soon be carried out, according to the head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum. At the same time, there are plans to build one million homes under the Mexico Plan, which also aims to promote national production for the domestic market.

The Ministry of Economy, led by Marcelo Ebrard, has revitalized the "Made in Mexico" campaign with the intention of promoting and distinguishing national products. On the other hand, to strengthen the Welfare programs, efforts will be made to consolidate initiatives such as the Welfare Pension, educational scholarships, support for people with disabilities, programs like Sowing Life, among others.

Sheinbaum thanked legislators for supporting the inclusion of social programs in the Constitution, stating that they are fundamental rights for the Mexican people. Regarding security, there are plans to strengthen the National Guard to optimize the fight against drug trafficking. Additionally, there are plans to improve the cooperation and coordination of security and intelligence institutions.

During an assembly in the Zócalo of Mexico City, Sheinbaum celebrated the pause on tariffs imposed by Trump and highlighted the importance of continuing efforts to curb drug trafficking. She also announced a series of axes to mitigate potential negative impacts that may arise.

Among the proposed axes are the prevention of crimes and addressing the causes that lead young people to risky situations, such as drug trafficking. The strengthening of the domestic market, self-sufficiency in basic and energy foods, as well as increased public investment to foster job creation in the country, are also mentioned.
